Sweet Avenue opened in August 2007 and has been serving award-winning vegan and gluten-free desserts to the New Jersey/NYC area ever since.

With hundreds of cupcake flavors on a rotating menu, there is always something new and delicious at Sweet Avenue, whether it's your first visit, or your 100th visit.

 

Visiting from NYC? Easy:

Take the A, C, E, N, R, Q, W lines to Port Authority. Transfer to the 190 Bus to Paterson. Exit the bus at the Rutherford Station stop. Walk 6 blocks up Park Avenue from the traffic circle. Cake Flavors

To Order:

Please email us with your order. When emailing, please include the following:

  1. Name
  2. Phone number
  3. Date & Time of desired pickup
  4. What you'd like to order

Our minimum order is 1 cake or 1 dozen cupcakes.

At least 4-5 days notice is required for all orders. We are a small bakery and we tend to book up early, especially for Fridays and Saturdays. If you can't place an order in advance, walk-ins are always welcome to choose from our daily menu.

If we can fulfill your order request, we will send you an invoice to complete payment. Your emailed order is NOT confirmed until it is accepted and paid in full. Please allow up to 48 hours for a response (depending on our business hours). We are closed on Sundays and Mondays.

Assorted cupcakes and 6" cakes are always available for walk-in customers daily on a first come, first served basis. See above for our daily menu.

Are your products vegan?

Our bakery is 100% vegan. We do not use any animal products such as dairy, eggs, or honey.

 

We do not use any dairy or dairy by-products in our bakery. We do not use dairy, milk, butter, cheese, casein, whey, or lactose.

 

Are your products dairy-free?

We do not use any eggs in our bakery.

 

Are your products gluten-free?

We make a variety of gluten-free baked goods; however, we are not strictly a gluten-free facility. We do make other baked goods using wheat flour. Cross contamination is possible, as these baked goods are processed on shared equipment with wheat/gluten.

 

Are your products soy-free?

We make a variety of soy-free baked goods; however, we are not strictly a soy-free facility. We do make other baked goods using soy milk, soybean oil, and soy lecithin. Cross contamination is possible, as these baked goods are processed on shared equipment with soy. In addition, we use gluten-free flour by Bob's Red Mill, which is packaged on equipment that also packages soy flour.

 

We do not use any peanuts, tree nuts, coconut, nut oils or nut flours in our bakery. We do use gluten-free flour by Bob's Red Mill, which is packaged on equipment that also packages almond and hazelnut flours. In addition, although we make every attempt possible to purchase nut-free ingredients, we cannot certify that every ingredient used in our bakery is not processed in a facility that may use nuts or nut products.

Are your products peanut-free and/or tree-nut free?
