FAQs
Click to expandWe have worked very hard on our recipes, and as such, we do not publish a list of ingredients. If you have an allergy, we are happy to answer any questions regarding it.
Everything we make is 100% vegan, which means we do not use ANY animal products like dairy or eggs. Even when we say cream cheese frosting, it is dairy-free, and soy-based.
We make a small selection of cupcakes that are gluten-free and soy-free per day (in addition to being dairy free and egg free). Please visit our menu for more information.
The powdered sugar that we use contains cornstarch to prevent caking. In addition, baking powder also contains a small amount of cornstarch. Certain cupcakes may also contain cornstarch and/or corn syrup.
Mini cupcakes are the essentially the same amount of work as full-sized cupcakes (often more, due to their delicate nature) for less than half the price, so they just aren't terribly cost effective for us unless you're ordering a lot of them. That's why we do still offer them, but with a minimum of 25 dozen (300 cupcakes).
One week's notice is typically required for all orders but we often book up even farther in advance, so the more notice the better! Custom cakes and custom cupcakes typically require more lead time than stock cake/cupcake orders. For very large orders and weddings, we recommend ordering one month or more in advance. In some cases, orders can be taken on shorter notice, but a rush fee will be applied.
We have very limited space in our shop and cannot offer cake tastings. We offer a large variety of cupcakes flavors available for purchase in our shop daily.
Due to the overwhelming number of requests we receive, we cannot donate to every organization. We regularly donate to animal shelters/sanctuaries and other organizations close to our hearts. We also regularly donate a percentage from some cupcakes to certain organizations. Additionally we hold an outdoor festival called Cupcakefest to raise money and pet supply donations for a local animal shelter in need.
Our cupcakes are best enjoyed on the day they are purchased (of course), but many of our customers pick up cupcakes a day ahead of time. Our cupcakes are best kept room temperature in an air-tight container (the same way you'd want to keep a fresh loaf of bread). If cupcakes are kept in an air-tight container, they will stay fresh for at least 3-4 days. Our cupcakes can also be frozen for a month or longer. Defrost them at room temperature.
We update our menu on a monthly basis, removing and adding new flavors. The only cupcakes that can be ordered are the ones currently listed on our menu at the time of order.
